University of Victoria Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science

University of Victoria, BC.

Fitting in while standing out.

The University of Victoria (UVic) approached Steady Studio to refresh the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science’s communications with a visual direction that would help distinguish and promote its programs while remaining true to the university’s established brand.

What began with redesigned promotional brochures evolved into a visually distinctive Impact Report and a cohesive visual language. Through an expansive collection of isometric illustrations and geometric infographics, we gave the faculty a distinctive voice while fitting seamlessly within the larger UVic identity, reflecting its commitment to innovation, sustainability, collaboration, inclusivity, and academic excellence.

They took vague direction from us and turned it into something much better than we could have imagined.

Steady Studio quickly understood our vision and elevated it in ways we hadn’t considered. Their design sensibilities, collaborative approach, and reliable project management made them an outstanding partner from start to finish.
